Takeshi Saji

Takeshi Saji, born in 1948, is a master blacksmith and founding member of Takefu Knife Village in Echizen, Japan. Recognized as a Traditional Master Craftsman in 1992, this third-generation blacksmith has trained numerous craftsmen including Yu Kurosaki.

Saji knives feature damascus construction with distinctive wood and horn handles. His workshop produces kitchen and hunting blades that have established a worldwide reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and unique aesthetic design.
