Takeshi Saji's R2 diamond damascus gyuto 240mm is a handcrafted Japanese kitchen knife forged by Takeshi Saji in Echizen, Japan. The core steel is R2, which is cladded in damascus with a striking "diamond" dinish.
The blade features a deep-etched damascus that's not only visible but also tactile. After etching, it's been highly polished to achieve a semi-mirror finish. This combination creates a striking contrast between the textured damascus layers and the smooth, reflective surfaces, resulting in a visually dynamic and luxurious appearance.
