Hand-forged in Tokyo by Teruyasu Fujiwara Hamono, this tall bunka has an Aogami Super core with a tsuchime kurouchi finish. It is a hefty Japanese multipurpose knife with extra height. At 175mm long, it works well for home kitchens and tighter prep spaces. The flat profile is well suited to push cutting, and the tall blade works as a scoop for moving cut ingredients off the board. The Aogami Super core delivers excellent edge retention, and it sharpens easily on stones.
