The Sakai Kikumori MV petty is a versatile utility knife made in Sakai by Kawamura Hamono. The 150mm stainless steel blade is made from AUS8, offering rust resistance and easy maintenance. This knife handles detailed work like peeling, trimming, and small cutting tasks. AUS8 by Aichi Steel Corp. sharpens easily and has very good toughness, making it less prone to chipping than harder Japanese steels. The stainless steel and compact size make it practical for everyday use in home kitchens and professional settings. At 65g with an octagonal walnut handle, it's light and maneuverable. A reliable tool for precision work and general prep tasks.

Why is the blade length different from the displayed size? The size in the product title is a nominal reference used by knife makers. The actual blade can be slightly longer or shorter due to handcrafting and traditional sizing. Each product page lists the exact measured length.
