Specifications

The Naniwa Leather Strop is designed for final finishing on knives. It is made from high-quality leather, an ideal material for maintaining sharpness and removing the microburrs that remain after using a finishing stone. By incorporating a leather strop into your sharpening routine, you can achieve a clean, refined, razor-sharp edge.

The strop can be used with or without honing compounds and is suitable for regular maintenance. To use it, place the strop on a flat surface, hold the knife at a consistent angle, and draw the blade along the leather using edge-trailing strokes and light pressure. This helps remove microburrs and lightly refresh the edge between full sharpening sessions.

The Naniwa Leather Strop is a practical addition for anyone who wants to keep their knives performing at a high level. It offers a simple, effective way to maintain sharpness and extend the time between full sharpening sessions.

FAQ

Why is the blade length different from the displayed size? The size in the product title is a nominal reference used by knife makers. The actual blade can be slightly longer or shorter due to handcrafting and traditional sizing. Each product page lists the exact measured length.

When will out-of-stock items be restocked? We carry limited, rotating stock. Once something sells out, we don't necessarily reorder it right away. It could be months before that item comes back, if at all. We bring in new knives regularly, but they're not always the same ones. Our newsletter is the best way to stay updated on new arrivals.

What payment methods do you accept? Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. No cash on delivery.
