Collection: Wrought Iron (Rentetsu)

Wrought iron, or rentetsu, hasn't been made commercially for over a century, so every piece is reclaimed from old structures and artifacts like bridges and anchor chains. This makes it an uncommon cladding, and a finicky one to forge, since it runs hot and is unforgiving to work. Its fibrous structure gives a wood-like grain that is different on every blade, and it comes out more after a stone finish. Wrought iron clad knives like these are not something you come across often.
