The Benriner mandoline slicer is the highest quality and sharpest slicer available. It is made in Japan with high-quality stainless steel blades that are compressed and heat-treated, then hand-sharpened. This results in blades that are comparable to knives in terms of their sharpness.
The Benriner comes with four interchangeable blades that allow you to slice, shred, julienne, or thread-cut any vegetable. You can also easily adjust the thickness of each slice. The slicer has a rubberized end-stop to keep it in place on the countertop, and a slot in the bottom so you can use any sized container. A safety guard is also included to help prevent finger injuries.
