This is our shipping information page for the Philippines. Zahocho Knives Tokyo is based in Tokyo, Japan, and ships to the Philippines via JapanPost EMS or DHL. FREE SHIPPING MADE EASY
Enjoy free EMS shipping on all orders over ₱5,000--no promo codes required. Orders below ₱5,000 have a flat shipping fee of around ₱750 (via EMS). We also offer DHL for Metro Manila at a flat rate of ₱2,000. If you're outside Metro Manila and prefer DHL, contact us at info@zahocho.com for a quote. All orders include online tracking.
ORDER PROCESSING
We process and dispatch orders within 24–48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Our Japanese knives come in their own box, and every order is securely packed to prevent damage during transit. We accept a variety of quick and secure payment options, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

EMS is our standard carrier for all Philippine orders. DHL is available in Metro Manila for faster delivery. Outside Metro Manila, DHL is possible on request--email us at info@zahocho.com for a quote.

DOOR-TO-DOOR DELIVERY
EMS shipments:
- Door-to-door delivery
- Local pickup may be required in some areas

DHL shipments:
- All shipments are door-to-door
- Handles all customs procedures
- Delivery updates via text message
FEES
EMS (all areas):
- FREE shipping on all orders over ₱5,000
- ₱750 shipping fee for orders below ₱5,000
- ₱112 PTCC fee — this is a standard customs fee charged by EMS in the Philippines, similar to how EMS charges customs fees in other countries. It is separate from the shipping fee and does not go to us. Paid directly to the PHLPost courier upon delivery. You'll get a text message from EMS when your package is out for delivery.
DHL (Metro Manila):
- Flat-rate ₱2,000 DHL shipping fee
- Mandatory ₱430 regulatory fee — this is a government-mandated customs processing fee collected online by DHL on behalf of the Bureau of Customs. This fee doesn't go to us.
- Orders may be subject to additional duties or taxes as determined by customs. These are not included in the fees mentioned above and are the recipient's responsibility.
