Yamamoto knives represent exceptional craftsmanship from master blacksmith Nao Yamamoto in Takefu, Japan. Born in 1979, Yamamoto trained at Asai Hamono and Kamotou Hamono before founding Yamamoto Uchi Hamono in 2013.

Certified as a Traditional Craftsman in 2019, Yamamoto knives—including the acclaimed Akifusa AS line—combine traditional forging techniques with modern steel technology for superior performance.
