The Yu Kurosaki Senko SG2 Gyuto is a handcrafted knife by the acclaimed blacksmith Yu Kurosaki. It features a core of SG2 steel known for its exceptional edge retention and resistance to rust. The knife is distinguished by its tsuchime finish, showcasing Kurosaki's signature hammered texture that contributes to both the blade's aesthetic appeal. 

The gyuto, often referred to as a Japanese chef's knife, is designed for versatility in the kitchen, adept at performing a wide range of tasks from slicing, dicing, and chopping fruits and vegetables to cutting meat.

❖ Yu Kurosaki, a master blacksmith from Echizen, Japan, is renowned for his handmade Japanese knives. Earning the esteemed title of "master blacksmith" at a young age, he honed his skills at Kanehiro Hamono for 12 years before opening his own workshop in 2014. Kurosaki-san's knives, like the Senko series, feature innovative and captivating blade finishes, resulting from a fusion of modern metallurgy and traditional forging. These stunning, exceptionally sharp knives reflect his dedication and mastery in knifemaking.
