SPG STRIX, introduced in late 2023, is a powdered stainless steel developed by Takefu Special Steel Co. Its high-HRC (~65) is achieved by strengthening the steel matrix rather than heavily relying on hard carbides like conventional powder steels. This approach makes it easier to sharpen while achieving carbon-steel-like sharpness.
