The Teruyasu Fujiwara Denka gyuto 240mm is a handcrafted Japanese chef's knife featuring a core of Aogami Super steel, known for its exceptional edge retention and sharpness. Teruyasu Fujiwara's excellent heat treatment enhances the steel's already impressive properties, making it one of the most sought-after Aogami Super blades available. The blade's design includes a distinctive finger notch. Teruyasu Fujiwara knives are known for their "wabi-sabi" aesthetic, embracing the beauty of imperfection in their craftsmanship, which adds unique character to each blade (wink).

This gyuto is a versatile all-purpose kitchen knife, excelling at a wide range of tasks. It's well-suited for slicing, dicing, and chopping vegetables, as well as working with boneless meats and fish. The 240mm blade length is generous, allowing for efficient cutting of larger ingredients. Its high-performance steel and distinctive craftsmanship make it an excellent choice for both home cooks and professional chefs who appreciate the unique character of Fujiwara knives.
