It features a core steel of FAXR2, produced by Nachi-Fujikoshi, the makers of SRS-13 and SRS-15 steel. FAXR2 is Nachi-Fujikoshi's designation for the steel SG2. This high-performance steel is renowned for its excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The blade boasts a high polish finish, giving it a mirror-like finish.
