The Yoshikane Deba is a traditional Japanese single-bevel knife handcrafted in Sanjo, Niigata. Designed for fish butchery, this nimai-constructed knife features a Takefu V2 carbon steel core (equivalent to Shirogami #2) with a tsuchime kurouchi finish. The right-handed blade comes with a D-shaped ho wood handle and buffalo horn ferrule, built for professional fish preparation tasks.

Why is the blade length different from the displayed size? The size in the product title is a nominal reference used by knife makers. The actual blade can be slightly longer or shorter due to handcrafting and traditional sizing. Each product page lists the exact measured length.
