The Nigara tsuchime kurouchi SG2 kiritsuke sujihiki is a handcrafted Japanese slicing knife forged by Nigara Hamono. The sujihiki is primarily designed for precise slicing of meat and fish, offering clean, long cuts with minimal effort.
Crafted from SG2 stainless steel, it offers excellent edge retention and easy maintenance without the need to worry about rust. The blade showcases an attractive geometric tsuchime pattern, complemented by a kurouchi finish. The knife features a western-style handle made of karin wood which offers a beautiful, warm reddish-brown color with an attractive grain pattern. Karin wood is prized for its durability and resistance to moisture, making it an excellent choice for knife handles.
