Made in Aomori, Japan by Nigara Hamono, this gyuto features a Takefu VG10 stainless steel core clad in stainless damascus. The blade is finished in a tsuchime (hammered) pattern combined with damascus, adding texture and visual depth. It is thin behind the edge with a nice convex grind. It is thin without feeling delicate. Offers solid cutting performance in a stainless package.
