A minimalist custom bunka by Satοshι Νakagawa. It has a core steel of aogami#1 which is a common choice for high-end Japanese kitchen knives. It is able to take a very fine edge and holds it for a long time. The excellent fit & finish and cross-sectional geometry is expected from the renowned Κawakιta hαmonο. We love the chamfered spine and the rounded choil. It's nicely convexed and thin behind the edge without feeling delicate---just the right amount of thinness and edge flex; a rather robust edge that doesn't sacrifice cutting ability.
We hope that this first batch of our custom Nakagawa will be your new favorite!
