The Nakagawa bokashi shirogami#1 flat bunka is forged by Sakai-based blacksmith Satoshi Nakagawa. Just like our previous Nakagawa aogami#1 custom, we opted for the same bokashi finish for that minimalist look. It has shirogami#1 as its core steel, known for its purity and ability to achieve the highest sharpness among carbon steels. With its fine grain structure, this steel sharpens easily, can hold refined edges well, and can take very acute angles.
