The Nakagawa Bokashi Shirogami #1 Flat Bunka is forged by Sakai-based blacksmith Satoshi Nakagawa. Just like our previous Nakagawa Aogami #1 custom, we opted for the same bokashi finish for a minimalist aesthetic. The core steel is Shirogami #1, prized for its purity and ability to achieve the highest sharpness among carbon steels. With its fine grain structure, this steel sharpens easily, holds refined edges well, and allows for very acute angles.
