Specifications

Moribashi, also known as plating chopsticks, are traditional Japanese tools used for precise garnishing and food arrangement. They are especially common in professional kitchens, where chefs rely on them to place delicate ingredients with accuracy and control. Their slim tips and balanced construction make them ideal for handling herbs, thin slices of sashimi, small vegetables, or any garnish that requires careful positioning. For anyone who values detailed presentation, moribashi offer a level of precision that standard chopsticks or tongs cannot easily match.

The well-balanced design allows the user to work comfortably for extended periods, making them suitable for both professional chefs and home cooks who enjoy thoughtful plating. The length provides excellent reach across plates and platters, while the stainless steel tips ensure durability and consistent performance. Whether you are arranging components for kaiseki-style dishes or adding finishing touches to modern plates, these chopsticks help achieve clean, intentional presentation.

Moribashi are also appreciated for their versatility. Beyond garnishing, they can be used for tasks such as turning small items during cooking, handling delicate ingredients, or performing fine adjustments during plating. Their combination of balance, precision, and simplicity makes them an essential tool in any kitchen focused on aesthetics and detail.

FAQ

Why is the blade length different from the displayed size? The size in the product title is a nominal reference used by knife makers. The actual blade can be slightly longer or shorter due to handcrafting and traditional sizing. Each product page lists the exact measured length.

When will out-of-stock items be restocked? We carry limited, rotating stock. Once something sells out, we don't necessarily reorder it right away. It could be months before that item comes back, if at all. We bring in new knives regularly, but they're not always the same ones. Our newsletter is the best way to stay updated on new arrivals.

What payment methods do you accept? Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. No cash on delivery.
