The Hatsukokoro Shirasagi shirogami#2 deba 165mm is a traditional Japanese fish-butchering knife designed for breaking down whole fish. Hand-forged in Tosa by blacksmith Toru Tamura, this deba features a shirogami#2 (White #2) carbon steel core with soft iron cladding. The 165mm blade handles everything from smaller fish like aji to whole salmon. Shirogami#2 steel is easy to sharpen and takes a keen edge. The fit and finish matches debas at significantly higher price points. The octagonal ebony handle provides secure grip during heavy cutting work. For right-handed users.
