Specifications

The Benriner mandoline slicer is widely regarded as one of the highest quality and sharpest slicers available. Made in Japan, it features stainless steel blades that are compressed, heat-treated, and then hand-sharpened to achieve exceptional cutting performance. The result is a set of blades that approach knife-level sharpness, allowing for clean, precise cuts that maintain the integrity of the ingredients. This level of sharpness is especially valuable when working with delicate vegetables, where a clean slice can make a noticeable difference in texture and presentation.

The Benriner includes four interchangeable blades, giving you the flexibility to slice, shred, julienne, or thread-cut a wide range of vegetables. Whether you are preparing salads, garnishes, or components for more detailed dishes, the slicer offers consistent results with minimal effort. The thickness adjustment dial allows you to fine-tune each slice, making it easy to achieve anything from paper-thin cuts to thicker, more substantial pieces.

Practical design details further enhance its usability. A rubberized end-stop helps keep the slicer stable on the countertop, reducing unwanted movement during use. The slot on the underside allows it to rest securely on containers of various sizes, making it convenient for collecting sliced ingredients directly into a bowl or storage container. A safety guard is also included to help protect your fingers while working, making the Benriner suitable for both home cooks and professionals who value efficiency and precision.

FAQ

Why is the blade length different from the displayed size? The size in the product title is a nominal reference used by knife makers. The actual blade can be slightly longer or shorter due to handcrafting and traditional sizing. Each product page lists the exact measured length.

When will out-of-stock items be restocked? We carry limited, rotating stock. Once something sells out, we don't necessarily reorder it right away. It could be months before that item comes back, if at all. We bring in new knives regularly, but they're not always the same ones. Our newsletter is the best way to stay updated on new arrivals.

What payment methods do you accept? Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. No cash on delivery.
