Sukenari

Founded in 1933 in Toyama, Japan. Sukenari is a family-run knife maker now in its third generation under Hanaki Nobuo. Their foundation is honyaki, the most technically demanding form of Japanese knife forging, and that standard carries through everything they make. Over the decades they have worked with carbon steels, special alloy steels, and modern powder steels including ZDP-189, HAP40, and STRIX.
