A shirogami#2 damascus yanagiba knife forged by Hideo Kitaoka. The damascus pattern on the blade is made by layering different kinds of steel and forging them together. The result is a unique and beautiful design. Shirogami#2 steel is easy to sharpen, takes a very find edge with good edge holding capability, making it a popular choice for high-end kitchen knives such as honyaki. The knife is expertly complemented by an octagonal Macassar Ebony handle, providing a comfortable and secure grip.
