Suisin is the brand name of Knife System Co Ltd. It was founded in 1990 by Mr Junro Aoki in Sakai City, Osaka, Japan. After 20 years under his father's guardianship at Aoki Knife Craft, he decided to establish Knife System Company. He combines traditional and modern techniques to create knives. 

Some notable partner master craftsmen include Keijiro Doi(†), Itsuo Doi, and Yoshikazu Ikeda.

The Inox Honyaki (IH) series is one of the classic favorites among experienced users when it comes to "laser" gyutos.
